The Telangana government is set to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of Opposition, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, to its flagship event, the Telangana Rising Global Summit. Chief Ministers of all states, prominent industrialists, sportspersons, and other influential figures are also expected to receive invitations via a specially appointed Invitation Committee. According to a press release from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's office, the state government decided to invite national and international representatives to the summit, which is scheduled to be held on December 8 and 9 at the Bharat Future City. This "Future City" is essentially an extension of Hyderabad currently being developed by the Congress-led administration.

CM Revanth Reddy will personally meet PM Modi, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul and All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge to extend invitations for the global summit. The release also added that, in an effort "to make the global summit a big success," the government will also invite Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of all states, eminent industrialists, prominent economists, sportspersons, media personalities, diplomats, and experts from various fields.

Telangana state ministers and high-ranking officials will extend invitations to noted personalities in various disciplines. An Invitation Committee will be appointed for this purpose, which will also oversee arrangements for guest arrivals and provide adequate facilities. A special website is also being set up under the auspices of this committee.

Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary to the government, confirmed that the Telangana government has already sent invitations to 4,500 representatives from various sectors, of whom 1,000 have confirmed their attendance.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for two major projects for the Bharat Future City at Mirkhanpet in Kandukuru Mandal of Rangareddy district on September 28. CM Revanth Reddy has previously asserted that the Bharat Future City will become the hub for Fortune 500 companies in the next 10 years, attracting investments and opportunities from all over the world.
