At least two people were killed while two others sustained injuries after their vehicle turned turtle near the Dalhori area of the Rajouri district on Friday.
Officials said a vehicle bearing registration number JK11E-0621 lost control and turned turtle. In this incident, two people were killed while two others were injured and shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Shakoor Ahmad (22), resident of DalhoriTalli and Azhar Ali, son of Mohd Mushtaq (12), resident of Manjakote.
While the two injured were identified as Razia Begum (30), wife of Zulfikar Hussain, and Mohd Norani (56), son of Abdul Rameen, both residents of Dalhori.
In a separate incident, vehicular movement has been stopped from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) due to a mudslide at Chamba Seri in Ramban.
The traffic update was issued at 02:45 pm, advising commuters not to travel on NH-44 till the road is clear.
