To strengthen agriculture and allied sectors in Haryana, the State Level Sanctioning Committee under the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana has approved an annual action plan worth ₹1,122 crore for 2026–27.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, who emphasised the need for timely utilisation of funds, efficient implementation and better coordination among departments to ensure that benefits reach farmers effectively.
The committee also reviewed the progress of key schemes, including PM-RKVY, Krishonnati Yojana, and the National Mission on Natural Farming. Officials noted that ₹318.17 crore was released by the Centre during 2025–26, out of which ₹240.46 crore—over 75 per cent—has already been utilised.

For the financial year 2026–27, the Centre has earmarked ₹545.53 crore, while the state government will contribute ₹363.69 crore, taking the total allocation under PM-RKVY to ₹909.22 crore.
The action plan is aimed at boosting agricultural productivity, promoting sustainable farming practices, improving irrigation facilities, and strengthening rural infrastructure to support farmers across the state.
