'Saini spat Yamuna water immediately after sipping', AAP claims drama

AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar has accused Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini of staging a drama by pretending to drink polluted Yamuna water, claiming he immediately spat it out. Kakkar also dismissed BJP’s blame on AAP over a suspicious vehicle found in Delhi, calling it a baseless accusation.

AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar has criticised Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for attempting to refute accusations made by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the polluted Yamuna water.

In a statement on Thursday, Kakkar claimed that Saini’s act of sipping the contaminated water was staged, asserting that he had not consumed it but had immediately spit it out.

On Wednesday, Saini visited the banks of the Yamuna River in Delhi’s Palla village, where he took a sip of the water in a bid to counter Kejriwal's accusations, which had alleged that the Haryana government was "poisoning" the water supplied to Delhi. In response to these claims, Saini termed Kejriwal's statement as "unfortunate" and suggested that it was intended to instil fear among the public for political gain.

Kakkar, however, dismissed the move as a 'mere drama'.

Here is the video of CM Saini sipping the Yamuna water:

“After such a big tragedy in Mahakumbh yesterday, PM Narendra Modi was in Delhi to criticise Arvind Kejriwal... We have told everyone that if you vote for BJP, the first thing you'll have to do is buy a generator. Everyone saw the drama that Nayab Singh Saini created by pretending to drink water from the Yamuna. He did not drink that water and immediately spit it out... Instead of misleading people and doing all this drama, he must tell how Yamuna water is so polluted.”

In another development, Kakkar also spoke about a controversial vehicle discovered in Delhi’s Punjab Bhawan area.

The vehicle, which had “Punjab Sarkar” written on it, was found containing large sums of cash, liquor bottles, and AAP pamphlets.

Police officials stated that they had initiated legal proceedings, while the Punjab government denied the vehicle’s connection to its fleet, confirming that the number plate was forged.

Kakkar further added, “This is a ridiculous blame and BJP did not even work hard this time to play this blame game... The owner of the car is a BJP worker from Maharashtra and the number plate belongs to another car. How ridiculous is it that a driverless car is randomly parked outside Punjab Bhawan with cash and other things? Punjab Police has clarified that no such car or number belongs to the fleet of Punjab government vehicles.”
