As the Ludhiana (West) Assembly by-election approaches, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora intensified his campaign with a rapid tour across several key wards on Monday, aiming to bolster support ahead of the June 19 poll.
Arora addressed back-to-back public meetings in Agar Nagar, Block-A (Ward No. 59), Rishi Nagar, F Block (Ward No. 62), and Ward No. 69, highlighting the achievements of the AAP-led Punjab government and appealing to voters to support the party by pressing the broom symbol—listed at number one on the ballot.
“Let’s take Ludhiana West towards quadruple development together,” Arora said while speaking at Agar Nagar, flanked by LIT Chairman Tarsem Bhinder, Ward Incharge Jatinder Khangura, and Councillor Pradeep Sharma.
In F Block, Ward No. 62, Arora interacted with residents and outlined developmental initiatives undertaken during the past three years, promising to continue infrastructural and welfare projects if elected. He was joined by Ward Incharge Navdeep Navi, Bhinder, and Sandeep Minocha.
Later, at a community event in Ward No. 69 hosted by Shri Atmanand Jain Sabha, Arora expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic response. “People’s love, trust, and encouragement inspire me to work even harder for Ludhiana,” he remarked.
The event saw participation from MLA Jagdeep Kamboj, Bhinder, Ward Incharge Bittu Bhullar, Councillor Maninder Ghuman, and social figures including Bharat Bhushan Bharti Jain and Sunil Jain.
With polling day nearing, Arora’s intensified outreach is being seen as a final push to rally voter support in what is expected to be a closely contested by-election.
