The surge in donations comes alongside a significant increase in footfall, with over three crore devotees visiting Shirdi over the past year. Officials noted that the growing adoption of digital donation methods has also contributed to the rise in contributions.
In addition to monetary offerings, devotees donated modern medical equipment worth Rs 15–20 crore to hospitals run by the Sansthan. Foreign currency contributions amounted to Rs 4.89 crore, while darshan and aarti fees generated revenue of Rs 39.55 crore.
