The demonstration took place at Kranti Chowk, where activists from Shiv Sena (UBT) chanted slogans against the ministers, accusing them of corruption on Monday.

Workers and leaders of the opposition Shiv Sena (UBT) staged a protest in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, on Monday, demanding the removal of what they described as "tainted" ministers from the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Mahayuti government.

The demonstration took place at Kranti Chowk, where activists from Shiv Sena (UBT) chanted slogans against the ministers, accusing them of corruption. They have come up with claims that suggest Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were protecting these individuals.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) has been demanding the resignation of ministers Yogesh Kadam, Sanjay Shirsat, Sanjay Rathod, all from the ruling Shiv Sena, and Manikrao Kokate of the NCP.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) has accused Minister Kadam of operating a dance bar using a permit issued in his mother's name, a claim he has denied. Kokate has faced criticism for allegedly playing rummy in the state legislative council and for making "insensitive" comments about farmers.

Minister Shirsat has also come under fire after a video surfaced showing him in a room with a partially open bag containing what appeared to be bundles of cash. The Sena (UBT) has targeted Shirsat after a video showed him purportedly sitting in a room with a partially open bag containing bundles of cash. The minister has rubbished the claim and said the bag contained only clothes.

The party has also accused Minister Sanjay Rathod of indulging in corruption.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve, who took part in the agitation, claimed, "Tainted ministers, who have allegations of corruption against them, are working in the state. The chief minister and deputy chief ministers are protecting them. These ministers play rummy, some display money, run a dance bar, and one minister practises black magic. Action should be taken against them, and they should be removed from the state cabinet."
