In a significant administrative reshuffle, Haryana government has ordered transfers of 17 IPS and three HPS officers, including Gurugram police commissioner. The transfer orders were issued by the Haryana Home Department on Sunday night.
Senior IPS officer Sibash Kabiraj has been appointed as the new police commissioner of Gurugram by the Haryana government, replacing Vikram Kumar Arora. Arora had been serving as Gurugram police commissioner since July 2024. He has now been posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Administration, in Panchkula.
Kabiraj is a 1999 batch IPS officer. He was earlier serving as the police commissioner of Panchkula. He also held additional charge of Cyber Crime and the State Crime Record Bureau.
M Ravi Kiran, ADGP Karnal Range, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, relieving Charu Bali of additional charge.
Bali, who also held charge as ADGP, Recruit Training Centre (RTC), Bhondsi, Gurugram, will now serve as ADGP, Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurugram.
K K Rao, ADGP Hisar Range, has been transferred as ADGP, RTC Bhondsi.
Rakesh Kumar Arya, Inspector General of Police, State Crime Branch, Panchkula, has been transferred as IGP, Crime Branch (Headquarters), replacing Sanjay Kumar. Ashok Kumar, IGP, CID (Headquarters), Panchkula, has been transferred as IGP, Karnal Range, replacing M Ravi Kiran.
S S Bhoria, SP Law and Order at Police Headquarters, Panchkula, will now serve as SP, STF Panchkula and SP, Commando, Newal in Karnal. Among Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers, Siddharth Dhanda, SP Telecom, Panchkula, has been transferred as SP, State Crime Branch (Headquarters).
