Popular Himachali singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi, who is known for his song “Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari,” and his family have received death threats. A ransom of Rs 15 lakh has been reportedly demanded.
 
According to police, the caller claimed to be linked with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. The Mohali police initiated a probe into the incident after a complaint was filed in this regard.
 
The accused, identified as Rahul Kumar Nagde, allegedly made phone and WhatsApp calls threatening to kill the singer’s wife, mother, and team members. He also claimed ties with the Goldy Brar gang.
 
Police said Rahul demanded a ransom of Rs 15 lakh and warned of dire consequences if the money was not paid. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
