SJVN ( Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam), a Central Public Sector Unit in joint venture with the state government here, has reaffirmed its dedication to India's mission of eliminating tuberculosis (TB) by actively participating in the 100 Days to TB Elimination Campaign, initiated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
As part of this initiative, the Director (Personnel), SJVN, Ajay Kumar Sharma administered the Ni-Kshay Pledge to the employees at SJVN Corporate Headquarters, Shimla.
He urged the employees to actively contribute to this campaign.
He said in alignment with the National TB Elimination Program and the vision of TB-Mukt Bharat outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, SJVN has developed an action plan.
Ni-Kshay Shapath, TB Awareness Sessions, Ni-Kshay Shivir (Screening Camps) etc. will be organised by SJVN's offices and projects across India. These initiatives aim to educate the masses, encourage early diagnosis, and facilitate preventive treatment.
The 100 Days to TB Elimination Campaign is a national initiative launched on December 7, 2024, to intensify efforts toward early detection of missing TB cases, prevent the spread of infection, and offer prompt treatment to those affected.
