Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport were disrupted on Friday morning due to bad weather, causing delays in all scheduled flights.
Airport Director Javed Anjum confirmed that all morning flights were delayed because of low visibility and snowfall in Srinagar. Passengers were advised to check airline updates for revised departure times.
The disruptions were caused by three days of continuous rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. The bad weather has also led to landslides in Jammu, affecting road travel. In the Kashmir region, moderate snowfall has made driving conditions difficult.

The Meteorological Department (MET) has predicted that the snowfall and rain will continue for the next 24 hours. Earlier, the department had issued yellow and orange weather alerts for the region, effective until February 28. Authorities have advised travelers to plan ahead and take precautions while heading towards Kashmir.
