Telugu cinema icon Allu Arjun appeared at the Chikkadpally Police Station on Sunday as part of his bail conditions in the case linked to a tragic stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2.

The December 4 incident at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad led to the death of a 35-year-old woman and injuries to her eight-year-old son, who remains under medical care.

Arjun, listed as the eleventh accused in the case, complied with his bail directive by presenting himself before the Station House Officer.

The city court had granted him regular bail on January 3, with conditions requiring weekly appearances at the police station for two months or until the charge sheet is filed.

The court also instructed the actor not to leave the country or change his residential address without prior approval.

A case was registered against Arjun, his security team, and the theatre’s management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following a complaint from the deceased woman’s family.

The stampede was attributed to a massive gathering of fans eager to glimpse the actor during the film’s premiere.

In response to Arjun’s proposed hospital visit to meet the injured boy, Ramgopalpet police issued a notice advising him to reconsider the plan due to heightened public interest.

Police requested his management to coordinate with hospital authorities to minimise disruption.

The notice further suggested maintaining confidentiality to prevent media and public gatherings at the hospital, ensuring peaceful operations. Arjun later cancelled his visit, citing legal advice.

The actor was arrested on December 13 but secured interim bail from the Telangana High Court a day later. His interim bail is set to expire on January 10, with further developments awaited.
