The Telangana government officials would submit a report by February 2 on the caste survey held in the state last year.
The officials informed this to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy during a meeting on the subject.
Observing that the survey is being praised at the national level, the Chief Minister appreciated officials for successfully conducting the survey, an official release said.
The officials said a draft report on the survey is ready and a final one would be presented by February 2.
The Telangana government's comprehensive socio-economic, employment, political and caste survey, an election promise of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, began on November 6.
The comprehensive household survey by the Telangana government achieved a key milestone in November 2024 with the enumeration of one crore families.
The survey completed the enumeration of one crore families in 16 days, giving a new turn to the myth that the exercise may not be completed on time, The government had colledcted massive details for the exercise.
Out of 33 districts, the survey had covered nearly all the families in eight districts.
The survey is cent per cent in Mulugu and Jangaon districts while Nalgonda and Medak districts recorded 99.9 per cent followed by Jagtial and Gadwal districts that registered 99.1 per cent.
The other district that covered more than 98 per cent include Yadadri Bhongir (98.8 per cent), Kamareddy (98.50 per cent), Asifabad and Manchiryal (98 per cent), Nizamabad (97.9 per cent) and Sircilla (97.8 per cent).
