Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur on Wednesday visited the ancestral village of Wing Commander Namansh Syal, who died in the Tejas aircraft crash at the Dubai Air Show last week.
Thakur paid homage to the pilot and offered heartfelt condolences to his family in Kangra.
He said the country has lost a brave, dedicated and exceptionally courageous fighter pilot, and called it an irreparable loss for the nation.
Thakur assured the late pilot’s family that a fair, complete and speedy probe will be carried out into the tragic crash.
He said he will stay in regular touch with the authorities concerned and follow up at the highest levels to ensure that the post-mortem report is released as soon as possible.
