Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) Director-General of Police, Shikha Goel.

The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has uncovered a large cyber fraud operation that was running from a fake call center in Patrika Nagar, Hi-Tech City. A total of 63 people, mostly from North Eastern states, were found working there, involved in online scams targeting NRIs and US citizens.

The police have arrested 63 key suspects, and the investigation is still ongoing to find more connections. According to TGCSB Director-General of Police, Shikha Goel, the accused worked at Exito Solutions, a fake call center. They pretended to be customer service representatives from PayPal to trick victims.

They used advanced software like EYEBEAM and X-LITE to make fake calls and send phishing emails. Their emails falsely claimed that there were unauthorized transactions on the victim’s PayPal account.

Victims were then tricked into calling a fake “fraud prevention team” mentioned in the emails. The scammers pressured them into sharing their banking details, pretending to help them get a refund or stop fraudulent activity.

In some cases, the victims were convinced to transfer money to "safe accounts" to prevent more fraud, but later realized they had been cheated.

The main person behind this scam has been identified as Kaivan Patel Rupesh Kumar, also known as Jaddhu or Jadu Bhai, from Gujarat. He was running the operation with his elder brother Vickey, who is in Dubai, and another person named Ajad.

They got stolen PayPal customer data and set up bank accounts in the US to receive stolen money. To hide the money trail, they converted it into cryptocurrency, making it difficult to track.

The entire operation was controlled by Jadu Bhai and Rahul, also known as Pratik, under the direction of Chanda Mansawani, the managing director of Exito Solutions in Hyderabad. The scam also involved team leaders Sanju, James, and Praveen, who were skilled at convincing victims to make payments.

They hired employees through social media platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, promising them salaries of Rs 30,000 for working in a call center. However, once recruited, these employees were trained in fraudulent tactics to deceive people.

During the raid, the police recovered 52 mobile phones, 63 laptops, and 27 ID cards of Exito Solutions. The investigation is still ongoing to find more suspects, including Justin, a key recruiter, and Jadu Bhai, who managed the operations. TGCSB has urged people to be careful and avoid becoming victims of such cyber frauds.

Shikha Goel advised the public to never share personal or banking information over phone calls or emails from unknown sources. She said people should check customer service numbers only from official websites before making transactions.

She also warned against clicking on suspicious links or opening attachments from unknown emails. People should report any suspicious activity immediately to the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) by calling 1930 or filing a complaint on www.cybercrime.gov.in.
