Kullu accident: Three Delhi tourists, including child, killed

The deceased have been identified as five-year-old Devisha, Sakshi (26) and Soniya (40). Their bodies were taken to the hospital for post-mortem examination.

Three tourists from Delhi, including a five-year-old girl, were killed in a road accident in Kullu on Thursday. According to police, the vehicle they were travelling in went out of control, hit a pole and then rammed into a roadside parapet.

 

The accident occurred near Babeli, about 10 km from Kullu town, when the group was coming back from Manali. The impact of the crash was severe, police said.

 

Three passengers died on the spot. The remaining three, who were injured, were rescued by a police team and rushed to the Civil Hospital in Kullu, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

 

The deceased have been identified as five-year-old Devisha, Sakshi (26) and Soniya (40). Their bodies were taken to the hospital for post-mortem.

 

The injured were identified as Sachin, Sahil and Anamika, all residents of Delhi. Superintendent of Police (SP) Kullu Madan Lal said a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
