Three minor girls, including two sisters, drowned in a ravine in Balh panchayat of Himachal Pradesh’s Una district, police said on Friday.
The tragedy took place on Thursday when one of the girls slipped into the ravine while washing her school bag. The other two tried to save her but also fell in.
Villagers quickly reached the spot and pulled the girls out of the water. They were taken to a community health centre, where doctors declared them dead, police said.
