A private bus overturned on the Kalka–Shimla National Highway in Salogra near Solan on Saturday, leaving two people injured, police said. The accident took place around 9 km from Solan when the driver reportedly lost control of the bus, officials said.

Police reached the spot soon after getting information about the incident. The injured driver and one passenger were rescued and shifted to the Civil Hospital  in Solan, where they are undergoing treatment.

 

The bus was later removed from the highway, and traffic movement was restored.

 

Solan Superintendent of Police (SP) Tirumalaraju SD Varma confirmed the incident and said that an investigation is underway.
