Two suspected drug smugglers were caught with a packet of heroin near the border in Gurdaspur, Punjab, a BSF official said on Sunday.
They were caught after picking up a 550-gram heroin packet, which was allegedly dropped by a Pakistani drone in Chanduwadala village on Saturday night.
The packet had a metal hook, confirming it was airdropped by a drone. BSF troops were searching the area based on intelligence about drone activity.
The accused are from the same village, the official added.
