Himachal Pradesh Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh tied the knot on Monday with Dr Amreen Sekhon, a professor at Panjab University. His family and close friends were present at the wedding ceremony in Chandigarh.

The 35-year-old two-time MLA from Shimla (Rural) Assembly constituency, and now a cabinet minister in the Sukhu government, is the son of former six-time Chief Minister of Himachal, late Virbhadra Singh, and State Congress President Pratibha Singh. Dr Amreen Kaur holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and is the daughter of Sardar Jotinder Singh Sekhon and Opinder Kaur.
Speaking to mediapersons, Vikramaditya Singh described his marriage with Dr Amreen as “a new chapter in life.”

This is Vikramaditya Singh’s second marriage. He had earlier married Sudharshana Singh Chundawat, from a royal family of Mewar in Rajasthan, in 2019. The couple later divorced due to differences.
