A case of alleged witchcraft has surfaced at Punjabi University, Patiala, causing anxiety among students residing in the girls' hostel. The incident follows a similar occurrence reported just a night earlier, heightening concerns among hostel residents.
Taking the matter seriously, the hostel warden has issued a strict warning, prohibiting any such activities within the premises.
On Saturday morning, students in one of the girls’ hostels were startled to find strange white markings in the hostel courtyard. The unusual sight immediately raised suspicions, prompting them to alert the hostel warden, Harpreet. In response, the warden swiftly issued an official notice addressing the matter.
The notice stated that reports had been received about certain students allegedly engaging in witchcraft or occult-related activities, creating an atmosphere of fear and distress among other hostel residents.

The warden made it clear that such practices would not be tolerated under any circumstances. She further warned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against anyone found responsible.
To maintain order and ensure the well-being of students, the warden has explicitly banned any form of occult or supernatural practices within the hostel premises. Despite the seriousness of the issue, Punjabi University authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the incidents.
The unsettling reports have left many hostel residents fearful, with some calling for a thorough investigation to determine the source of these mysterious activities. Many students are demanding that university authorities step in to reassure them and take appropriate measures to prevent further incidents.
As concerns continue to grow, students remain on edge, hoping for a resolution that will restore their sense of security within the hostel.
