In yet another shocking incident, a woman in Bhiwani allegedly killed her husband after he caught her in a compromising position with her lover. The woman used to make reels and videos on YouTube.
The woman, who has been identified as Raveena, and her lover were apprehended after a CCTV footage surfaced, showing the accused taking the victim's body on a bike to dump.
32-year-old Raveena of Rewari in Haryana was married to 35-year-old Praveen, who was a resident of Rajasthan. They have a six-year-old son. The father of the victim, Subhash, said Raveena used to have differences with his son. Praveen’s family got suspicious and informed the police.
Raveena was in contact with another YouTuber Suresh, who lived in Premnagar, Hansi, for the one and a half years. The deceased’s father informed the police that his daughter-in-law had killed his son due to an illicit relationship.
Praveen's family found the CCTV footage of all the routes leading out of their residence. In the CCTV footage, on the night of the murder between 2 and 2:30, Raveena and a man riding a motorbike were seen carrying Praveen away wrapped in some cloth. The victim seemed to be in an unconscious state. The family showed the footage to the police, the case against Raveena got strong.
Praveen's father also informed the police that he (Praveen) returned home on March 25 and had a heated argument with Raveena. However, he was not seen in the morning.
The police questioned Raveena, who later confessed to the crime.
She admitted that she had an illicit affair with Suresh. Her husband had repeatedly warned her to stay away from him. Due to this, she came home on March 25. That very night, she strangled her husband with her dupatta. After killing her husband, Raveena and Suresh carrried Praveen's body on a bike to dispose of the body late at night.
A case has been registered against Raveena and Suresh.
