Woman who accused Haryana BJP state chief Mohan Lal Badoli and singer Rocky Mittal of gang rape alleges her life is in danger.
"My life is in danger. They were consumed by brutality. They did not even consider their age. For one and a half years, I cannot describe what I have been going through. People are calling me a liar", said the complainant in a video being circulated on social media.
"They intimidated my friend and forced her to give a false statement. She was present in the room on the day of the incident. They are threatening me as well. I will soon hold a press conference with all the evidence", the woman further stated.
A case was registered against Badoli, 63, and Mittal at the Kasauli Police Station on 13 December 2024. The alleged gang rape occurred on 3 July 2023, at a hotel in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, where the woman claims she was forced to drink alcohol before she was raped.
While demanding a CBI probe for total transparency, Badoli's wife, Geeta Kaushik Badoli, has publicly disputed the allegations, labelling them "politically motivated".
Meanwhile, Badoli, who has been avoiding public appearances since the allegations surfaced against him, on Tuesday, made two organisational appointments within the state BJP.
