1,500 makeshift houses to be cleared for Simhastha-Kumbh'28

In preparation for the 2028 Simhastha-Kumbh Mela in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Indore authorities have announced plans to remove approximately 1,500 makeshift houses encroaching on the Kanh and Saraswati rivers' catchment areas. This action is part of the campaign to make the Kshipra river pollution-free, the official said.
