Assam Cabinet permits 24/7 shop operations in major cities

The Assam Cabinet has granted permission for shops in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, and Silchar to operate 24/7, excluding liquor shops and bars. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the decision, which also includes safeguards for workers and a series of development measures for the state.
