Mamata claims 110 deaths linked to SIR, releases poems

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said 110 people have died due to stress over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. At the 49th Kolkata Book Fair, she announced the release of her 162nd book, a collection of 26 poems highlighting voters’ struggles under SIR.
