Indian-American Faizan Zaki wins US Spelling Bee

Faizan Zaki, a 13-year-old Indian-American from Texas, has won the 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee by correctly spelling “éclaircissement”, continuing the impressive winning streak of Indian-origin students in the prestigious competition, which marked its centenary this year.
