India offers big opportunities for UK apparel imports: AEPC

AEPC Chairman Sudhir Sekhri said the UK, a global fashion hub and the sixth-largest importer of apparel with imports valued at USD 20.27 billion in 2023, has long trusted India as a partner, with India's exports to the UK reaching USD 1.2 billion last year, securing a 6.14 per cent share of the UK’s textile and apparel market.
