U’khand clears Aroma Policy; over 90k farmers to benefit

In the first phase of the policy, 22,750 hectares of land will be brought under aromatic crops, benefiting 91,000 farmers. Farmers will receive subsidies of up to 80 per cent on cultivation costs for one hectare and 50 per cent for costs beyond one hectare.
