6.5 crore voters dropped from draft rolls in SIR Phase 2

Nearly 6.5 crore voters were removed from draft electoral rolls across nine states and three Union Territories after Phase 2 of the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision, aimed at deleting duplicate, shifted and deceased entries.
