Congressman Suhash Subramanyam takes oath on Gita

Congressman Suhash Subramanyam follows in the footsteps of Tulsi Gabbard, the first Hindu American elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Like Gabbard, Subramanyam took the oath on the Bhagavad Gita, a tradition she began in 2013 when she became the first member of Congress to do so.
