An Air India Express flight arriving from Singapore aborted its landing at Chennai airport after descending to just 200 feet above ground. The decision was made due to an unstabilised approach caused by strong crosswinds and a steep descent. In response, the pilots performed a go-around maneuver, prioritising the safety of all 180 passengers on board. This incident, coming on the heels of similar recent occurrences, has raised fresh safety concerns and triggered an investigation by the DGCA.
