Drug racket busted inside Sangrur Jail; several held

The Punjab Police on Thursday unearthed a major drug smuggling racket being run from within Sangrur Jail, leading to the arrest of multiple individuals, including a senior jail officer. The crackdown resulted in the seizure of heroin, firearms, cash, and several contraband items.
