Erratic weather wreaks havoc across J&K

On Thursday night, a hailstorm accompanied by gusty winds caused widespread destruction to orchards in multiple villages in South Kashmir. According to eyewitnesses and orchardists, hundreds of apple orchards were destroyed in the overnight weather fury.
