FIDE World Cup: Karthik wins, five Indians in Round 4

GM Karthik Venkataraman advanced to the fourth round of the FIDE World Cup 2025 by defeating GM Bogdan-Daniel Deac of Romania in the rapid tiebreaks. While Karthik continued his dream run, compatriots GM Vidit Gujrathi and GM Narayanan SL were eliminated after closely contested matches.
