The GSDP at current prices increased to Rs 2,30,587 crore in 2025-26 from Rs 2,09,385 crore in the previous fiscal. At constant prices (2011-12), it stood at Rs 1,44,656 crore, showing an 8.3 per cent growth compared to 6.4 per cent earlier. These figures were shared in the Economic Survey 2025-26, presented by Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu in the Assembly on Friday.

Jharkhand's economy has shown a steady recovery, registering an average GSDP growth of 7.7% over the past three years. The Jharkhand Economic Survey projects continued growth, with a 6.7% rise in 2024-25 and 7.5% in 2025-26. Per capita income is also on the rise, with inflation remaining controlled.
