English village celebrates links with Indian Army

Titled Red Pepper and Black Pepper – The Indian Army in the New Forest (1914-1916) and Bournemouth, the exhibition opened at the New Forest Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst village recently to tell the story of mutual warmth and friendship between the troops and the local population during the First World War.
