Israel’s Gaza plan draws global flak, stirs settlement fears

Israel’s security cabinet has approved Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to take control of Gaza City. The proposals have sparked international condemnation, including from the United Nations which said it “runs contrary to the ruling of the International Court of Justice that Israel must bring its occupation to an end as soon as possible”.
