Govt unveils ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain-2024' ; Over 1.29 Cr water-related works undertaken nationwide

The campaign focuses on water conservation, rainwater harvesting, geo-tagging water bodies, establishing Jal Shakti Kendras, afforestation, and awareness. It also targets desilting, cleaning water bodies, revitalizing abandoned borewells, geo-tagging water bodies, afforestation in catchment areas, snow harvesting, and small river rejuvenation.
