NIA takes over Meitei man’s killing case in Manipur

The Manipur government has handed over the probe into the abduction and killing of Meitei civilian Mayanglambam Rishikanta Singh in Churachandpur to the National Investigation Agency, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla said, as protests erupted and security operations were intensified across the state.
