Health ministry approves new MDR-TB treatment

The Union health ministry has approved the BPaLM regimen, a new and effective shorter treatment for multi-drug resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) under the National TB Elimination Program, combining Pretomanid with Bedaquiline, Linezolid, and optionally Moxifloxacin.
