Imphal valley shutdown over armed men arrests, death

Normal life was disrupted in Imphal Valley on Saturday as a bandh was called over the arrest of six armed men and the death of one during a police gunfight in Thoubal. Supporters of the bandh claimed the arrested men were protecting their villages from armed Kuki groups.
