India seeks consular access to crew of seized oil tanker in Iran

India has urged Iran to grant consular access to 16 Indian crew members of oil tanker MT Valiant Roar, seized in international waters near the UAE last month, as New Delhi presses Tehran to allow communication with families and ensure the sailors’ welfare.
