20 TMC rebel MPs shift to NCPI, align with NDA bloc

Twenty rebel Trinamool Congress MPs on Sunday formally joined the Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NCPI), bypassing efforts to form a separate bloc in the Lok Sabha. The group is expected to support the BJP-led NDA while focusing political activity in eastern states including West Bengal and Tripura.
