Arunachal's Nyishis surrender guns to conserve wildlife

The Nyishi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh is abandoning centuries-old hunting traditions to safeguard wildlife. Spearheaded by the Nyishi Elite Society, hundreds have surrendered their weapons, symbolising a cultural shift from exploitation to conservation, raising hope for the revival of the region’s biodiversity.
