Hostage families bypass Israel, push US to talk with Hamas

With negotiations stalled and hopes dwindling, families of Israeli hostages are calling for the United States to open direct talks with Hamas. Adi Alexander, whose son Edan is among the captives, says the diplomatic impasse has brought them back “to a year ago” and left families “concerned”.
