Meghalaya holds first Cabinet meeting outdoors at Ward’s Lake

The Meghalaya Cabinet held its first outdoor meeting at Ward’s Lake, clearing land acquisition for the Shillong Airport runway expansion. Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma called the four-hour session “very special”, saying the project is now poised to enter its execution phase after years of delay.
