PM announces Rs 1,500-cr aid for flood-hit Himachal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced a financial relief package of Rs 1,500 crore for areas in Himachal Pradesh affected by floods and heavy rainfall. He also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the next of kin of those who lost their lives and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
