Santiniketan’s 'Asrama' area to reopen for public access

The Asrama area of Santiniketan, a UNESCO heritage site, will soon be reopened to the public in a controlled manner, Visva-Bharati officials have announced. The decision follows the appointment of Vice-Chancellor Probir Kumar Ghosh, who is expediting the process to balance heritage conservation with public access.
