UP shuts zoos, safari parks after tigress dies due to Avian Flu

Uttar Pradesh has temporarily shut all zoos and safari parks after a tigress at Gorakhpur’s Shaheed Ashfaqullah Khan Zoological Park died of avian influenza. The closure, effective until 20th May, aims to prevent the spread of the virus, with strict health monitoring in place.
